Chang Cheng Catering review

Food quality is acceptable and value for money. Cooking consistency could be better. Delivery was early.

Food portion was sufficient and taste was generally satisfactory. Repeat order as price is competitive.

The food arrived warm and in good time together with more than ample disposable forks and spoons (no serviettes though). The range of food is very good and the portion of steamed rice generous. Well priced bento.

Food arrived 1 hour earlier which was wayyyy too early, 30 mins would be more acceptable. Portions were big. We had 27 pax and ordered for 32 pax, around half of the food was left so we tabao-ed the leftovers for the guests to bring back. Setup ... More looked atas with a menu displayed and 3 vases with plastic flowers. Some of the food was quite salty like the spare ribs. The egg salted fish fillet and mini cream puffs (which tasted more like a custard filling) were my favourite. The rest did not leave any impression at all like the fried prawn dumpling which was supposedly a popular item.

The food was delivered ahead of time. However, there was a small hiccup as the driver gave the wrong order.

Called the hotline, and they managed to deliver our correct order within 5 minutes!

The ordering was easy and I requested to change the vegetable dish and it was simply done! The arrival of the food was early and everyone liked the food very much and felt that it was value for money. We will be ordering from Chang Cheng again.

The food is delicious and the portions are big. My family and friends all like the food, especially the E-Fu noodles, honey baked chicken chop and chinese spinach with eggs.

I am thankful that the caterer managed to push my order despite it being less than 3 days. The food was delivered earlier than the mentioned timing , about 30 minutes earlier. The stir fried chicken and prawn paste chicken was praised the most.

Sorry to say that to food is so so ..and must consume earlier ! Quite disappointing that after a while pineapple rice turned sticky. Curry chicken too oily and potato not well cooked ( hard ). Honey dew sago too sweet ( at least 3/4 not consumed).

Most of my guests enjoyed the dishes especially the salted egg prawns. They were fresh, big and tasted very good. Derek, the manager called earlier to inform of some delay in arrival of food but all turned out well. They even changed the table ... More cloth to red for me with festive decorations when I told him of the special event. He came down personally to ensure everything is in order.
