12 months 95% in French oak barrels and 5% in French oak foudres. 12 months in bottle
A tribute to the ancient keeper of the winds, Eolo, the winds that blow through the century old vineyard.
Grape Varietals & Region:100% Malbec from Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina
Taste Profile: Intense red, with violet tones and black hues. Attractive and perfumed violet hints, joined in harmony with black fruit, cherries and balanced oak notes. Sweet and velvety tannins with a unique complexity provide a long and elegant finish
Concha y Toro Terrunyo Malbec has intense red color with violet hues. Aromas of cherry, fresh prune and elegant floral notes. The palate is fresh with juicy tannins, great texture, and a pleasant and long finish. Ideal to accompany a ""provoleta"" with oregano and olive oil. Grilled red meat with lemon and pepper.
Grapes were destemmed and crushed with pre-fermentative maceration for 72 h at 4-6ºC. This is followed by traditional fermentation for 20 days at 24-26ºC in stainless steel tanks. Post-fermentative maceration 2-5 days with natural malolactic fermentation.
The vineyard is located in Uco Valley at 1000-1200 m above sea level. The soil is alluvial, located above the alluvial corre formed by the Tunuyán River. The first layer has a sandy-loam profile, with small, colluvial stones and calcium carbonate deposits that continue to 60 cm deep. The next layer becomes sandy, with abundant medium-sized colluvial stones to a depth of 1.5 m. Beneath this is an underlying layer predominantly defined by 30 cm thick limestone that sits above a sandy layer with colluvial stones.
The weather is dry, continental, with good exposure to the sun allowing an excellent maturation of the grapes. Thermal amplitude 15 to 20°C.
Red Wine
Carmenere
Bright, deep red in color. Very expressive on the nose with aromas of red fruits, blackcurrants, and blueberries, as well as mineral notes such as pencil lead. Well-structured and balanced on the palate with excellent density, fresh acidity, and silky tannins, with subtle notes of vanilla, graphite and loam on the lingering finish
The Pirque Viejo Vineyard is one of the winery’s oldest vineyards. It is located 650 m above sea level and runs along the Maipo River, near the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The vertically positioned, cordon-pruned vines come from pre-phylloxera vinestock.
Alluvial, rocky, poor in nutrients, and highly permeable due to the gravel in the sub-soil. Semi-arid Mediterranean. Strongly influenced by the Andes Mountains and the proximity to the Maipo River. The high daily temperature oscillation helps develop the fruit concentration and intensifies the aromas. Aged for 17 months in French oak barrels.
The bunches are selected, destemmed, and gently dropped into stainless steel tanks for fermentation, which lasts 15–19 days, including a post-fermentation maceration (3-7 days). Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally, and the wine is aged for 16 months, during which time it stabilizes naturally without additional treatments. The wine is bottled without filtering.
There is no doubt that this is a classic Riesling and is Kabinett-like
Grape Varietals & Region:100% Riesling from Aconcagua Region, Chile
Taste Profile: Zesty, sherberty lime and perfumed spicy blossom rise from the glass. Sweet fruit is balanced impeccably with a backbone fresh acid and that lime deepens into grapefruit and stonefruit on the palate. The flush of flavour lingers as the texture soothes. Drink in that freshness now or hold for a few years to let that honey develop.
Taste Profile: Almaviva is dark ruby color, deep and opaque. The nose is pure, focused and layered, revealing delicate and clean aromas of blackberries, ripe cassis, currants and violet, associated with fine notes of tobacco, cedar and coffee bean. The palate shows outstanding amplitude and balance, luscious texture, bright acidity, broad structure and persistence. The tannins are well refined, smooth and silky, enhancing the fresh and juicy character of the year. Precise and polished, Almaviva combines harmonious elegance, richness, ripeness and freshness in an exceptional and superb vintage.Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Carmenere, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petite Verdot. The vintage was rainier than average with 300 mm in Puente Alto between May and October 2017, compared to the historical average of 281 mm. During the same winter period, the temperatures were lower than usual, resulting in bud break occurring a few days later than average. The temperatures increased significantly in November, reaching higher levels in December than in four previous years. The heat increased the growth and the vigor of the vines, initiating important precision work in the vineyard.

Concha y Toro launched the Amelia brand in 1993 as a tribute to women who have pushed beyond the limits. Searching for new horizons - think Amelia Earhart, Jane Goodal, Gertrude Ederte, and more.
Light ruby red colour. This Pinot Noir opens with a complex and multi-layered bouquet. Dominated by red cherry notes and a hint of smoke and black tea leaf. Refreshing, with an excellent combination of structure and a mineral backbone. The dry palate offers a streak of salinity. Flavours of oak grain, vanilla, red cherry and dark fruits. Closes with a long, fresh finish.
"The Amelia Pinot Noir has a great structure, balanced acidity, and a touch of salinity that only the Limarí Valley can deliver." — Marcelo Papa, Winemaker.
From the best terroir for Pinot Noir in the Limarí Valley, the fruit for this wine is taken from blocks 5 & 6 of the Quebrada Seca Vineyard. Quebrada Seca is located 190 metres above sea level. On one of the valley's rolling hills, bordering the Atacama Desert to the north and just 22 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean to the west.
Cool climate and moderate temperatures, thanks to coastal breezes, help the fruit to ripen slowly. Producing fresh wines with an attractive mineral character. Blocks 5 & 6 are associated with the Santa Cristina soil series and are of colluvial origin. With the presence of angular stones and a good percentage of red clay and calcium carbonate.
Manual harvest, the bunches go through hand picking and selection before they are deposited into stainless steel tanks. 10–15% of the capacity is filled with whole clusters and the remainder with grapes that were very carefully destemmed to prevent any breakage in the berries.
The vinification process began with a cold maceration for 6–7 days at 7–8°C. With one punchdown per day to even out the temperature for a more delicate extraction. As different lots complete their fermentation, they are separated from their skins and racked into barrels for aging. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation naturally as it ages for 12 months in French oak barrels (20% new and 80% second or third-use).
Have you got an adventurous spirit? Ready to explore, to find a wine with a character that tests the limits?
Well, you'll find what you're looking for and more in this stunning ultimate Premium Chardonnay. Brimming with character and an exceptional freshness and a sense of origin, Concha Y Toro Amelia Chardonnay crosses over into new horizons of exceptional. Concha y Toro launched the Amelia brand in 1993 as a tribute to all the women who have pushed beyond the limits. Think Amelia Earhart, Jane Goodal, Gertrude Ederte and more.
Brilliant light yellow colour. Its crystalline appearance contradicts its complex and multi-layered bouquet. Aromas of white flowers and pears waft from the glass, with a predominance of flinty mineral notes. Refreshing, textured, an elegant mouthfeel. An excellent combination of structure and minerality with a very attractive salinity on the long, fresh finish.
Named after Marcelo Papa's wife- Amelia Chardonnay displays multiple aromatic layers, with an excellent combination of structure and minerality, as well as an attractive salinity in its fresh, long-lasting finish. — Marcelo Papa, Winemaker.
A top-end Chardonnay taken from the Quebrada Seca Vineyard in the unknown and extreme Limarí Valley, northern Chile. Quebrada Seca is located 190 metres above sea level. On one of the valley's rolling hills bordering the Atacama Desert to the north and just 22 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean to the west. Cool climate and moderate temperatures, thanks to coastal breezes, help the fruit to ripen slowly and produce fresh wines with an attractive mineral character.
The vineyard is notable because its clay soils contain a high limestone content, which is very unusual for Chile. This mix of clay and limestone in this specific part of Chile is the perfect base for Chardonnay. Creating wines of great structure since the limestone gives it backbone and the clay provides body.
After a manual harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery. They go through selection on a conveyor belt, which then deposits them directly into the press without destemming. This allows the berries to break gently without applying too much pressure, resulting in a delicate and controlled extraction. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, with 18% new and the remainder with one or two previous uses.
Fermentation lasts 15–18 days, and the wine finally ages in Burgundy-style French oak barrels for 12 months. The wine stabilises naturally with the cold winter temperatures as it ages in the barrels.
Carmenere, with small percentages of Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon. From the Peumo Vineyard, D.O. Peumo, Cachapoal Valley. The soil profile presents perfect proportions of sand, silt, and clay, because it is in the second colluvial-alluvial terrace and is associated with the riverbed, which allows for fresher, more elegant wines. The clay retains water, which contributes to good ripening in the grapes. The retention characteristics are perfect for controlling plant growth.
Deep, dark red with violet undertones. Very elegant, complex, with notes of blackberry and a touch of blackcurrant. Full on the palate, with mature underlying tannins, concentrated and profound, with a long aftertaste that is distinctive of the Peumo soil.
Selected bunches are destemmed, and the grapes are dropped gently into stainless steel tanks for fermentation for 5–7 days. 15 months in French oak barrels, 85% first use and 15% second and third use.
Red Wine
Cabernet Sauvignon
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Syrah from Quinta de Maipo Vineyard, D.O. Buin, Alto Maipo Valley. Of alluvial origin, silty-clay in the first horizon. Gravel predominates below the surface, which lends the soil good permeability and few nutrients.
Taste Profile: Deep cherry red. Great aromatic complexity, expressing red fruit aromas & floral notes. Dense & deep on the palate presenting a delicate texture of tannins, and great freshness.
Winemaking Process: The process begins with a selection of the bunches. The stems are removed from the grapes, which are then selected for placement in the fermentation tanks. This process uses stainless steel tanks and consists of 8 days of alcoholic fermentation and 10 days of post-fermentation maceration. The malolactic fermentation occurs naturally. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels. Once the process has ended, the wine is bottled where it completes the bottle-aging process. 14 months in French oak barrels (26% new, 74% one use).
Marques de Casa Concha wines embody Concha y Toro's culture and tradition in the art of winemaking. The brand was launched in 1976, in honor of the noble title conferred upon the Concha y Toro family in 1718 by King Felipe V of Spain.
At the edges of the Atacama Desert, one of the driest places on Earth, the Limarí Valley is at the outer limit of wine production in Chile. Despite the extreme conditions, it is a paradise for grape production.
Grape Varietals & Region: The Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay is from a single vineyard on the south bank of the Limarí River, Quebrada Seca Vineyard. Located close to the Pacific Ocean, the weather is cool with a significant drop in temperature after sunset.
Taste Profile: Bright and light yellow in color. Rich and concentrated aromas of white pear, fig, mineral notes, and toasty hazelnut waft from the glass. Elegant and vibrant, this full-bodied wine possesses a distinct minerality and a core flavor of ripe figs and pear. The fruity and mineral flavors are complemented by sweet vanilla toasty notes. A silky mouthfeel with crisp acidity and a long, memorable finish.
Winemaking Process: The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in the Puente Alto Cellar. Upon reaching the cellar, the bunches were whole cluster pressed for controlled and delicate extraction. Fermentation took place in oak vats over 12–15 days. Just 5% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine was aged in French Burgundian oak barriques for 12 months with periodic battonage (lees stirring). Finally, the wine was fined with adjusted doses of bentonite and cold stabilized prior to bottling.
Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Pinot Noir from the San Julián Vineyard, D.O. Limarí, Limarí Valley. The Pinot Noir vines come from clones 777 and 113 (Dijon). Alluvial, silty-clayey with a round stone substrate, a calcium carbonate base and little organic matter. Coastal climates create overcast mornings & indirect light, allowing for slower ripening.
Taste Profile: Bright and delicate red. It shows concentrated notes of cherry and raspberry. A refined texture with red fruit and licorice flavors, with a notable structure. It feels exuberant, fine, and delicate.
Winemaking Process: The bunches are selected and de-stemmed, then they fall by gravity into the fermentation vats. This process is carried out in open stainless steel tanks and lasts a total of 12 to 14 days, including a cold maceration period of 7 days. The reassembly is done by stomping. A small percentage of the batches are fermented with stalk. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally.
Grape Varietal & Origin: 100% Carmenere from Peumo Vineyard, D.O. Peumo, Cachapoal Valley. Deep alluvial silty-clay associated with the riverbed. The vines come from pre-phylloxera vine stock and are trellised to vertical shoot position. The soils are deep and have a top layer of clay that retains moisture, which helps control plant vigor and growth, and more importantly, allows the vines to remain active until late May when Carmenere is harvested.
Taste Profile: Deep violet red. An intense, pure Carmenère, packed with blueberries and wild berries. Floral hints like violets and a pinch of roast red pepper. Fruity and flavorful with delicious acidity, sweet, friendly tannins, and a long, creamy finish.
Winemaking Process: The wine is aged for 12 months; 96% in French oak barrels (29% new and 71% second- and third-use) and 4% in foudres.
Grape Varietals & Region: 95% Merlot, with 5% Malbec from the Maule Valley, where there are large amounts of clay and granite in its soils, primarily toward the coast, where the Coastal Mountains are relatively low, enabling the cool ocean breezes to enter this valley that produces the largest number of varieties in Chile. Mediterranean climate, with a long dry season.
Taste Profile: Deep, dark, bright red. Rich and skillfully balanced. Fresh and complex. Delicate notes of blackcurrant, spices, wild fruits, and red plum. It has a nice and elegant touch of toasted oak which adds an attractive dimension. Elegant tannins accompany a great fruit expression on the palate. Its finish is long, fresh, and captivating.
Winemaking Process: The bunches are selected in the vineyard and de-stemmed, then transported to the fermentation ponds. This process is carried out in stainless steel tanks and lasts a total of 10 to 14 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs naturally for 50% of the wine and is induced with selected cultures for the other 50%. Next, the wine completes its aging period for 14 to months in French oak barrels and foudres. The stabilization of this wine occurs naturally, without treatments. Aged for 18 months, 50% in 5,000 L foudres and 50% French oak barrels, 22% first use and 88% second and third use.
