Catered Tingkat Lunch for the past 2 months. The quality of the food is nothing to shout about. Family members feedback that it was too salty at time. Nevertheless, portion wise, it was well sufficient.
The problem I had was with their customer ... Moreservice. Today, was informed by family members at 12.30pm that lunch delivery was later than usual. Gave Kim's Kitchen a call just to check and was told that their delivery van had broken down. Was given the assurance that delivery will be made latest by 1.30pm. Fair enough, vehicles do breakdown so we accepted the 1hr delay.
At 1pm, am shocked to receive a call from another Kim's Kitchen staff to inform that it'll be further delayed till 2.30pm.
Understood from the staff, that the vehicle broke down at 11+am and I really wonder why Kim's Kitchen took close to 2hrs to inform their customers about the delay.
Shouldn't it be logical to redirect available resources to support the food delivery rather than to wait for the repair of the van (and then resume food delivery)?
Have it ever cross their mind that perhaps the customers (especially the aged and sick) may get overly hungry if they delay the delivery till 2.30pm?
Furthermore, the attitude of the staff (who called) was really bad. It was a case of take it or leave it. Imagine the inconvenience of rushing home to buy food for my family members at home.
