"Dishonest & unreliable food catering from Fu Kwee Catering"

We ordered their Mini Buffet for our housewarming on 24 Aug and supposed delivery time of between 11am-12pm. This was confirmed by Lilian via Whatsapp on 20 Aug. When the delivery was still not here by 1215pm, contacted Lilian and was told their ... More ONLY driver was held up in Jurong area due to the customer delivery before us didn’t inform them that the driver needed to climb upstairs. Told to wait 30mins more!! By this time, all our guests has arrived and we’ve no food to serve them!!
30mins later still no sign of their driver!! Mind you, we’ve an old couple guests that’s almost 90 years of age and everyone is famished by now!!
Called Lilian and again told to wait another 15mins as driver is rushing from Jurong to Eunos!! Why are they not dispatching another driver from their Kaki Bukit kitchen when Eunos is just 10mins drive away??!! Asked her if my order is with the Jurong’s driver and is it still safe to eat after so many hours on the road?? She told me that driver is going back to their kitchen to pick up our order before delivering to us.
Another 20mins passed and still no sign of her driver!! Called her 6 times before a Jackson picked up the call to say their driver is reaching their kitchen in 5mins!!
Another 10mins passed before we finally saw the driver arrived with our food. The food arrives with some lukewarm or cold!! Check with the driver did he have our order in his van all this time (to Jurong snd back to Eunos), he confirmed that is the case!!! Lilian and Jackson lied to me!! I’m glad to share my guests so far has not reported any illness due to this long lapse and I survived to write this review!
Very very disappointed with Fu Kwee Catering which we’ve used them previously with no such issues!! Not sure if there’s a change in ownership or management as it seems all the personnel I engaged with are of certain nationality and the food quality is now subpar!!
This will be the last we’re going to order from them and for those looking to use them, caution and discretion is advised!!
