In the past , I have ordered multiple occasions from Xin Yi Pin and my guests were always well fed with even left over . But this time , though I ordered 30 pax portion for 27 pax of guests (including three children within that 27 pax), food was ... More gone after even one round of serving. My guests had to look for snacks and other things to eat in my house to fill up their stomachs. When I ordered 30 pax , I expected food portion should be enough and I didn’t prepare extra food in the event of shortage . I was caught off guard and had to scramble some frozen food from my fridge to cook for my guests . I know inflation has been up in singapore , but Xin Yi Pin should increase menu price without sacrificing on the portion , so that customers won’t be caught off guard on first day of CNY for insufficient food , on a day which is difficult to da bai or order delivery last minute !!! V disappointing.
