"Edible food but not flavourful. Quality can be improved."

First time ordering from Foodline and from this caterer. Price was still reasonable and affordable for the dishes offered in the menu. However, lots to comment about the food.

1. Beehoon was not bad, tasteful, but lumpy and broken.
2. Sweet and ... More sour fish was not bad.
3. Stir fry Kai Lan tasted bland, not much gravy, and the stems felt exceptionally hard.
4. Chicken ngoh hiang: normal. had feedback from a few that it doesn't taste like ngoh hiang
5. Cereal prawns were not fresh and felt mashy.
6. Mango pudding was the worse. Totally tasteless and the texture was too soft like chawanmushi.

Portion wise: acceptable for 30 pax ordered, except that prawns felt too little and barely filled up the tray. Overall, food was edible but nothing to praise of. There was too much food leftover, probably because the quality was not too good. Mango pudding were barely touched.

Utensils like plates, spoons and forks were given.
No serviettes.

Caterer was also late for about 10-15min past the order time.
