"Peranakan Family bundle"

My dad had a craving for peranakan food, so we decided to order from Kitchen Peramakan for our family dinner. It was quite impromptu, so we were happy that the order went smoothly.

Delivery was early, food was still hot when it arrived. We enjoyed the pork dish, meatballs in the soup, sayur lodeh and chap chye. The pork cuts are rather generous, food overall was flavorful and rich. The Assam fish dish did came with a layer of oil on top, was much better after we scooped it off.

Overall rather satisfactory, the flavors do pack a punch, it is on the spicier side for most dishes as you would expect from peranakan dishes.
