"Food not appealing and too bland."

Ordered a week's trial for my elderly parents. Food was delivered at about 3.30pm which is still ok as they eat around 5-6pm. However taste was too bland for their liking. On a scale of 1-10, hawker vege-rice stall is about 6-8, my mum's cooking 6-7 ... More and caterer's food fared 2-3. My mum's cooking taste much better than theirs. Not going to continue as food doesn't look appealing. I chose this caterer though their price is higher than others cos their kitchen is located nearby but for the price paid, I could have gotten better food elsewhere.
