Was meant to be a surprise birthday cake for a family member. Hence we couldnt let her know in advance.

and as she should be the only one at home and might likely step out home around the scheduled delivery timing. they said they would send back ... More the cake if no one was home. so what was a surprise birthday celebration without a cake? couldnt they leave it with the neighbours? we could discuss with the neighbours for the special arrangements. worse come to worst, the birthday lady would need to be contacted by the delivery man to rush back home for the cake delivery. Why didnt they suggest this before telling me that they would send the cake back to the shop if no one was home when delivery?

this was our 2nd choice caterer as the 1st choice was not delivering close to chinese new year. not even 3 days before chinese new year because foodline was closed during that period. they work with foodline for delivery.

the customer service lady was abit impatient. i tried to explain one of my points and she just kept on rattling and not trying to understand where i came from.

i selected chocolate happy birthday tag to come with the cake. and they told me it was not halal and could not deliver as they are halal shop. so why was it a choice from the beginning?

the selection on the web didnt allow both chocolate birthday tag and candles at the same time. so meaning i could have either one of them only? a cake with a birthday tag only or a cake with candles only? wondering was it a technical error which foodline should be looking at it or some oversight by the caterer?

i wasnt sure about the birthday ladys age.. and i couldnt confirm between the 2 years i told the lady. Common sense was to give more candles than less right so we could put the correct number of candles?

well, at least the birthday lady and family were happy with the cake after all the trouble ordering it for her. they all liked he flavour that i picked for her.

One of the few that delivered during Chinese New Year Day 1. Grateful for that.

the fried food were soggy. but thats normal after delivery.

Couldn't comment much as they were consumed a day after.

Called the shop a day before on a weekend to ask them to leave the food outside. They were nice to take the instructions.

First of all i would like to thank them for accepting the last minute order. Order was placed on a Friday night with smooth payment on Saturday for Monday tingkat delivery.

When the first few tingkat deliveries happened, they were in generous portions and food quality were great. Thumbs up for that!

Then less than a week, my dad was getting tired of the food.

Twice the driver did not arrive on usual time.. He was not late but arrived an hour later than usual so we were abit worried if we were forgotten.

We also feedbacked that the food was not as good as days ago. And the delivery also got mixed up a few times for the soup and rice. We did not order rice. We had more servings of the soups than usual. So we guessed the 1st few days generous portions could be a mistake. shown as pictures. We also guessed there might be a different chef hence the food qualities were different.

They were happy to give a refund on the remaining days that were not delivered but my dad wanted to save the trouble for everyone else.

Food variety is limited, taste is on average. not on the top of the list but edible and acceptable for the price paid.

1st day tingkat was nearly late, delivered slightly before 7pm. highlighted to James and it was on time onwards.

Most days are good and delicious, something different from what the other tingkat companies offer. most days portions are good and adequate especially with the servings of prawns. one of the not so common tingkat dishes ever tried. interesting ... More menus

good delivery time. can chill and assured and wait for the food to be delivered by dinner time.

one that includes weekends delivery which is good except that they only offer 14days package the maximum. after that u got to renew which is abit cumbersome

abit more pricey than other tingkat packages, also considering maximum 14days package only. but better food portion and choices.

just a few hiccups at the starting, no finger foods when we omitted soup and few days later no fruits. customer service took awhile to check with packing team and delivery man. finally after few follow ups, compensated finger food on another day that she thought might not be overfilling us. extra effort for being very thoughtful. thumbs up.

Fish wasnt very fresh

fried pumpkin with salted egg yolk and yam paste with ginkgo nut are good.

it would be good to have the payment details on the same page as the order so that we do not need to wait for them to confirm then pay. double ... More handling.. had to order from foodline then wait for them to contact me then whatsapp for invoice and then provide payment details ..

Food was acceptable just abit bored maybe repeat order and maybe its usual tingkat choices.

will probably return as its definitely on our good list
