The oven baked dory fillet was tender and flavourful. It was the most popular dish for the buffet and was the first dish to get wiped out. Broccoli with enoki mushroom dish was also quite well done, with the broccoli being neither too hard or soft. ... MoreOur guests also feedback that the water chestnut drink was refreshing and nice.
However, we were disappointed with some of the dishes. The pan grilled chicken leg with rosemary sauce was rubbery and difficult to chew. More than half of the chicken was left untouched at the end of the buffet. The oriental fried rice and the spaghetti with tomato coulis were both too dry.
Buffet set-up was rather slow, taking more than 20 minutes. They started set up when my tea ceremony started, but it was not yet completed when the whole tea ceremony was finished. Show less
