"Not an impressive first experience from this caterer :-("

The "golden phoenix chicken" dish did not come with any discernible chicken meat - merely chicken skin smeared thinly with some bean skin and fish-paste-like substance, and the portion was miserable! We were also not informed beforehand that the ... More mango pudding would come as store-bought factory-made mini cups which tasted quite nasty & synthetic. Other caterers we've used in the past made their own mango puddings (with or without sago, pomelo or other accompaniments) which proved far superior. Other dishes fitted the "edible, but can be better" description pretty well. Overall, this was quite a disappointing experience in comparison with the CNY reunion dinner we enjoyed from another caterer (which we rated 15 out of 15) just two days earlier!
