"Food arrival timing/ communication could be better."

Catered them for Son's 1st Birthday and so did not order the Kou Rou Pau & Curry Chicken that many raved about (Funeral dishes). Food arrived at 4:30pm without giving me an advanced call instead of scheduled 5pm and came with a notice that food ... More needs to be consumed by 730pm when I had scheduled cake cutting @ 8pm. Collection at 10pm.


Food Review as follows:

Fried Noodle 炒桂花面 (Oily and turned soggy within 2 hours +)
Fried Chicken Chop in Thai Style 泰式鸡扒 ( Not bad once dipped in Thai Chilli Sauce)
Black Pepper Prawns 黑椒鲜虾 (Frozen prawns used and not properly defrosted; complaints of not fresh)
Sambal Sliced Fish 参巴鱼片 (Sweet Sour Fish fried in Sambal Chilli; Some pieces were very good; while others tasted not fresh & need more defrosting. Good Sambal Chilli though)
Deep Fried Sotong 脆酥苏东卷 (Calamari; was very hard)
Sweet & Sour Pork 咕噜猪肉(Preferred the sambal fish; the batter coating was on large pieces of pork like sweet sour fish size unlike smaller bite size I'm used to, Taste wise was not bad)
Sotong Dough Stick w/Salad Cream 苏东油条 (95% You Tiao, 5% sotong paste; quite hard & not Q)
Celery w/Vegetarian Kidney 西芹素腰 (Was nice)
Yam Paste w/Coconut Milk 芋泥椰浆 (Did not look appetising; but was highlight of the meal. Thumbs up given by Teochew guests & reason why I might recommend them)
Orange Cordial (Enough to drink)
