"Scary ordering experience but it all came through in the end"

Caterer did not contact me at all so up to the last few days I was still checking with foodline who tried reassuring me that the order was accepted. On the day of the event, still no sight nor sound and I was getting really anxious that the order ... More fell through. I was all ready to order from another restaurant when a msg came in from foodline 11min after the supposed delivery time saying the food was picked up and was on the way. Within 1 min or so, the delivery guy appeared. While the quality of the food was exceptional, the uncertainty of it all was quite unnerving. I really did not want to go to my FIL empty handed after promising him a really nice meal. All my previous bookings with foodline were always followed up with direct confirmations from the caterer themselves. So I honestly feel a follow on call after confirmation by the caterer would be good.
